Rehoming process

Application

We read all applications and get in touch with those that look like a good match for one of our dogs.

Home check

If your application looks like a good match we will contact you to arrange a home visit – this is a mandatory part of adopting.

Meet and greet

Once the home visit is complete we will arrange for you to meet suitable dogs.

Adoption and post adoption support

We love to see updates about how the dogs are getting on and we offer rescue back up for the rest of the dog’s life.

Important notes

  • All of our dogs are assessed, vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered (or will be at a time recommended by our vet) and treated for fleas and worms.

  • We re-home to Thanet and surrounding areas, (up to a 1 hour drive from Dover where many of our dogs our brought upon arrival) but will consider further afield for a dog that has very specific requirements.

Ready to adopt?

Before applying, please read through the adoption process so you know what to expect.

All of our pets are assessed individually based on their history and what we learn about them while they are in our care. Every pet has a unique set of needs so please read each profile very carefully. Some are happy in family homes with children and other pets, while some might need to be in a quiet adult only home. These requirements are non-negotiable and have been made to help us find the right match between every pet and their new human guardian. We want to make sure all of our pets feel happy and safe in their forever home.
