Thank you for considering adopting a PET from Pet secure. The dogs currently available for rehoming are listed below. Please click on the dog’s name for more information about them. If you feel you are a good match then click on ‘Apply to adopt’ and complete an application form. More information about the adoption process can be found in the Adoption menu.
We receive dozens of applications for young dogs with no issues, meaning numerous people are going to miss out on their chosen dog. Each dog can only go to one home. We are sorry if you are disappointed, but please remember we are not here to find you a dog. We are here to find a home for each of our dogs. Older dogs, pairs, and dogs with some behavioural issues will often be waiting several weeks for the right home, so please consider if you might be a match for them.
If you wish to apply for more than one dog, please fill out a separate application for each, except where two dogs are being rehomed together. If you are contacted about a dog, please let us know if you have applied for any other dogs. All our dogs are vet-checked, wormed, treated for fleas, vaccinated and neutered where possible.
Sometimes we need to move a dog into a new home urgently, either because the foster carer has become unwell or has a family emergency, or because a dog has already been assessed and we want to spare them an additional move. In these circumstances, and only in these circumstances, a dog may be taken home without a prior meeting, subject to a successful home check and the payment of an adoption fee, but the fee is refundable if you decide within three weeks not to keep the dog. In the rare situations where a FVTA does not result in adoption then we ask you to continue to care for the dog until we can find a more suitable home.
